The Belgian American Society of New England or BASNE is a membership organization in the New England area that promotes the interaction between Belgians and anyone interested in Belgium, through a variety of social, cultural and business events.
BASNE offers the opportunity for its' members to participate in ad hoc events featuring anything 'Belgian' such as museum visits and concerts, culinary events and presentations from members and Belgians in their field of specialty.
BASNE is venturing into new ways of social and business networking. It reaches out to other Belgian, European and International organizations in the area and it collaborates with the Belgian American Chamber of Commerce or BACC.
The Belgian Honorary Consul for New England appreciates the opportunity to meet with the Belgian community through BASNE.
Members and Friends can meet at a monthly informal dinner at a Boston Brasserie featuring Belgian dishes and drinks.
The signature event of the Saint Nicholas Party in December is still a big hit with the children and their parents.
